Annual Meet Up
On 22nd Aug 2022 Evodians from the Head Office and Factory gathered for the much-awaited Annual Team Meet 2022 at the PharmEvo Factory. The event marks the year-end roundup, as the team reflects on the year’s achievement and sets bigger goals. This year too, top performers were awarded and promotions were announced for the deserving Evodians.
Independence Day Celebrations
PharmEvo celebrated 76th year of Independence in special ceremonies held at the head office (CafeEvo) and factory. Top Management delivered motivating speeches highlighting the importance of the day.
GROW – New Employee Orientation Program
New joiners were welcomed with a 2-day extensive orientation program named GROW – “Get Ready for Opportunities at Work”. The program provides new team members with a proper introduction to the company, what’s expected and where they fit in to overall goals. The session is designed in such a way that every new joiner feels at ease and gains a sense that they are part of the Evodian family.
WHO Audit Inspection
A WHO audit was conducted in the month of Sep 2022, in which auditors from WHO visited our plant and conducted a 5-day audit of our manufacturing facility and procedures.
World Smile Day
World Smile Day is celebrated on the first Friday of every October and this year Evodians celebrated it on 7 October. To celebrate the day, Evodians were asked to smile and show small acts of kindness that would make their team members smile and brighten up their day.
Job/Career Fairs
PharmEvo believes in attracting and retaining fresh talent , therefore Academia is our important partner in providing competent Human Resource. Like each year, this year also our Human Resources Team visited different institutions like Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Bahria University, Habib University, Higher Education Commission and interacted with recent graduates and undergraduates elaborating on how we work for “A Healthier Society”.
VOICE OF DAR-UL-KUTUB
A healthy society is one that is both physically and intellectually healthy. To achieve our dream of a Healthier Society, PharmEvo initiated the campaign “Voice of Dar-ul-Kutub” to encourage Evodians to develop healthy reading habits and enjoy the collection of multi-disciplinary books at our in-house library, “Dar-ul-Kutub”.
Evodian Premier League 2022
As part of our employee engagement activities, the interdepartmental cricket tournament “Evodian Premier League 2022” was held on 2nd December 2022 at the Eidgah Ground, Nazimabad, Karachi. A total of 6 teams participated. Team “Raptors” won the tournament captained by Mr. Moeed Chippa, Group Product Manager- Team Warriors.
Exploring Opportunities, Expanding Horizons
International Business team successfully showcased their top-of-the-line healthcare products at the different International Exhibition and Trade Shows . A big leap towards exploring business opportunities around the globe.
New Year Celebration
To welcome 2023, the Evodians shared their exciting New Year Resolutions and welcomed the new year with fresh dreams, hopes and aspirations.
WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY
PharmEvo understands the importance of mental health and the impact it has on individuals and communities. To support this cause, Evodians celebrated World Mental Health Day to support mental well-being of themselves and people around them. PharmEvo’s efforts on this day were aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging Evodians to seek help when needed.
World Diabetes Day
On the occasion of World Diabetes Day on 28th November 2022, our brand ambassador for Discovering Diabetes, Waseem Badami shed light on the major public health concern, Diabesity, affecting the quality of life of thousands of people and exposing them to risk factors that are largely the result of sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy eating habits. Ms. Sana Azfar, Consultant Nutritionist, AKUH also discussed the early interventions required to combat sedentary lifestyle and obesity and prevent the onset and progression of Diabetes.
BREAST CANCER AWARENESS DAY
To recognize the beauty, strength, bravery, and power of women in our society, Evodians celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Day on 13th Oct to spread positivity and support the breast cancer community. PharmEvo made a meaningful contribution to this effort by highlighting the importance of breast health and emphasizing the need for awareness, education, and support for those battling the disease.
