Among the various literary initiatives they pursue, the annual tradition of publishing thematic calendars holds a special place. These thematic calendars are an iconic legacy of PharmEvo and draw inspiration from the iconic heroes, the achievements of our ancestors, and our rich and glorious language and history. They also reflect the company\u2019s dedication to promoting literary activities and our commitment to enhancing the mental and physical well-being of the society.<\/p>\n

The theme for the 2024 calendar holds special significance as it not only reinforces PharmEvo\u2019s commitment to celebrating culture and language but also celebrates and promotes the linguistic heritage of Pakistan. This edition pays homage to the beauty of our nation by showcasing the richness of all 12 regional languages, reflecting the diversity that unites us. The physical launches across Pakistan were accompanied by Mushairas attended by the dcotors, literary enthusiasts, poets, and members of the medical fraternity.<\/p>\n

Karachi:<\/h3>\n

25th<\/sup> Thematic Calendar Launch and Shaam e Shair o Sukhan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The 25th<\/sup> Annual Thematic Calendar Launch was held on 9th<\/sup> Dec 2023, and accompanied by a Mushaira. Professor Pirzada Qasim, Khalid Irfan, and Adal Soomro graced us with their eloquent poetry while Dr Mohammad Saeed Qureshi, VC DUHS, was the chief guest for the evening.<\/p>\n

The audience was treated to soul-stirring poetry along with regular doses of humor that lightened up the mood in the marquee at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.<\/p>\n

Islamabad:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Islamabad launch happened on 16th<\/sup> December 2023 at PC Islamabad.<\/h3>\n

The event was graced by luminaries like renown poet Mr. Iftikhar Arif., Vice Chancellor Health Services Academy<\/em>, Dr. Shahzad Ali khan, Ajmal Siraj, Inam ul Haq Javed, Afzal Khan.<\/p>\n

Deputy CEO PharmEvo Mr. Syed Jamshed Ahmed, shared the vision behind thematic calendars. He emphasized the hard work that goes behind making this artistic piece each year, reinforcing the company\u2019s commitment to promoting literature among the masses.\u00a0 Of the estimated 68 languages spoken in Pakistan, 12 have popular literary contributions and poetic collections.<\/p>\n

Asadullah Khan, Executive Director<\/em>, Riphah International University<\/em> also shared his views. He believes that empathetic attitude and polite communication by doctors play a vital role in a patient\u2019s recovery. It also distinguishes successful practitioners from those who fail to establish rapport with the patients. He emphasized the need for medical practitioners to be well versed in multiple regional languages to be able to facilitate the patients the best way possible.<\/p>\n

Mr. Iftikhar Arif commended PharmEvo for its successive calendar launches which are attended by a large number of people each year.<\/p>\n

Ajmal Siraj, Iftikhar Arif, Inaam Javed, Afzal Khan shared their poetry in the mushaira which was lauded by all in attendance.\u00a0 More than a100 doctors attended the event.<\/p>\n

Multan:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Multan launch was held on 16th<\/sup> Dec, 2023 at the Ideal Marquee Multan.<\/h3>\n

The mushaira enthralled the audience. The poets Ahmed Rizwan, Khalid Masood and Riffat Abbas shared their captivating poetry which was lauded by all in attendance.<\/p>\n

More than 90 doctors attended the event. The thank you note was delivered by Director Commerical PharmEvo Mr. Mansoor Khan.<\/p>\n

Lahore <\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The Lahore launch and mushaira was held on December 17, 2023, at the Pearl Continental.<\/h3>\n

The event garnered widespread acclaim, with over 145 esteemed doctors and a distinguished gathering of 400+ guests gracing the occasion. Ajmal Siraj, Abbas Tabish, Wasi Shah and Shakeel Jazib enthralled the audience with their poetry.<\/p>\n

Syed Jamshed Ahmed addressed the audience and introduced the Calendar 2024, that welcomes the new year with a unique tribute to the rich cultural heritage and linguistic diversity in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Head office Launch and Mushaira:<\/h3>\n

On Dec 13th<\/sup> 2023, Mushaira in PharmEvo Headoffice was held \u00a0for the Head office Evodians.<\/h3>\n

Khalid Irfan, with his profound verses, Anwar Shaoor, with his thought-provoking poetry, and Ajmal Siraj, with his rhythmic and soul-stirring words, collectively evoked emotions that resonated with the hearts of the engaged audience.<\/p>\n
